This was originally a sloped site which we terraced to create three levels. With large, sliding, kitchen doors the lower deck becomes an extension of this kitchen. The walls around the lawn create a play area and prevent plant damage from footballs! Privacy is maintained in the upper area through a Eucalyptus screen.

Eastwood Manor was big project with many landscape aspects. These included a grass tennis court, ellipse pond, sculpture garden, large York stone terrace, parterre, manicured lawns and extensive herbaceous planting. All were created from scratch.

A very small garden. A cupboard provided much needed storage space. Raised beds brought the planting up to waste level when seated. The floor is created from large slate slabs.

A Japanese garden. The Deck is created from old oak, railway carriage boards. The wall is to create a screen from an alleyway and with a Cedar shingle roof makes an attractive feature. There is also a tea house which serves as a shed tucked behind the wall.

A hard surface tennis court was built in an overgrown area of this large garden near Bath. Stone steps were required to connect the path to the court entrance where there is seating and magnificent views of the country.
Landscape & Design
Plenty of lush planting softened some of the hard structural lines in the design. The driveway is created from railway sleepers with low, creeping, alpine plants in-between, making a green drive without lots of unsightly concrete.
